Learn to go from a brand new Ubuntu machine to a full fledged production ready server via Ansible.

Course includes:

- Installation of Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq and more with automatic updates.

- Deployment of a Ruby on Rails application in Production environment.

- Securing the environment to prevent intrusion.

- Creating a beautiful and comfortable shell environment with tools that will help you get the most of the command line.

Once you learn to automate the process via Ansible you can then tailor the recipes to other applications.

Course assumes a basic knowledge of Linux and the command line. It is based on Ubuntu but the knowledge you learn can be adjusted to work with other Linux distributions. The sample application that is deployed is Ruby on Rails but you can alter it to suit your needs whether it be Python with Django or any other language/framework combination.

The Ansible recipes you create will run on Mac OS or any Linux distribution.
