What is the role of a doula? This course will go over it. No quiz needed at the end of this course. We will be going through teh day to day functions as a doula.

Doula's have a supportive and special role in the birthing process. They are like a friend who is educated on the birthing process and can hold your hand the whole way through. Their job is to be available on call and be available before, during and after the birthing process.

There are doulas that meet virtually only before the birthing experience but most will meet you in person, gather information, answer question and walk you through the process face to face before you birth.

We will be discussing only birth doula's and post partum doula's.

We will not be discussing death doula's which usually serve the elderly.

This course for anyone who wants to hire a doula. Take one on may steps needed to be a doula or anyone at all.
