Brain stroke damages the brain from interruption of its blood supply. Stroke is a leading cause of death in the world and is a major cause of serious disability for adults. The incidence of stroke & death rate due to brain in most countries including India has increased by more than 70% in 2022-21 because of huge gap between neurologists and treatment on time for patients.

We believe that bridging the growing disparity between the demand for neurological services and the need for neurologists for delivering timely care can be a game changer in bettering patient care. There needs to be more training for hospital staff and neurologists to handle stroke emergencies to reduce mortality rates! iCardin- Brain Stroke Management training is a web-based course aimed at providing physicians with the specialized knowledge needed to manage stroke cases. Based on the most recent stroke guidelines, the content is contextualized to the Indian setting by neurology experts.

The objective of this course is to enable general practitioners to formulate triage systems that minimize the time from the acute stroke event to transfer to a facility with the capacity to deliver thrombolysis.
