Using a spreadsheet allows you to quickly and easily track you budget without having to use a calculator or do hard math. All of the formulas are already provided for you. You simply plug in your numbers and the software does the rest for you. This spreadsheet is incredibly powerful. It tracks all of you fixed and variable expenses and even shows you how much you should have in your checking account at any given time. (In other words, it helps you avoid surprises.)
