In this class we will be focusing on establishing a foundation for all our future artistic works: your very own Watercolor Artist Palette and of course Custom Color wheel based on that palette.

Very important part of realistic style of watercolour painting is a color matching process. To do it right we need proper color sampling chart (made in the form of the Color Wheel) each color sample of which is corresponding to an actual paint from your personal Artist Palette. which will be build based on modern knowledge about colors and pigments. We will learn how to properly choose paints, how to create clean mixes, what to do and what to avoid.

Also I will explain why in this palette you will never find Black and Brown (earthy colors) paints.

This particular approach in creating custom artist palette was developed in my art school and has been successfully employed in the past few years. It has two main advantages:

- Your paint choice depends only on the pigment name, regardless paint manufacturer

- No more guessing what paint to pick when you starting color matching process

I am sure this knowledge will be extremely helpful for beginners in watercolor painting as well as for more experienced artists.
