To understand all this, this training is built in four parts:

• In the first part we will describe the information involved in a BI project and we will see how it is organized

• In the second part we will describe a simple procedure to describe a business intelligence need

• In the third part, we will look at the BI project but from the IT point of view and we will describe the different technical components

• In the fourth part we will concretize all these elements via a demonstration in the Pentaho Data Integration ETL and the Microsoft Power BI business intelligence platform
