Certified Energy Manager® (CEM®) certification program has been accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) based on the International Standard ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024.

The exam is provided by The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), founded in 1977, is a nonprofit professional society of over 16,000 members in 90 countries.

This practice tests covers all sections with 300 questions divided into two tests and the answers will be after finishing the test:

The role of an Energy Manager (EM) involves facilitating energy conservation by identifying and implementing various options for saving energy, leading awareness programs, and monitoring energy consumption. As such, EMs play a critical role in the successful implementation of energy conservation and demand management programs within the industry.

A Certified Energy Manager is an individual who optimizes the energy performance of a facility, building, or industrial plant. The CEM is a systems integrator for electrical, mechanical, process, and building infrastructure, analyzing the optimum solutions to reduce energy consumption in a cost-effective approach. CEM’s are often team leaders and help to develop and implement their organizations’ energy management strategies. CEM’s have gained increased recognition within the energy industry and by companies looking to strengthen their competitive position by having responsible energy strategies and sustainable operational practices.

EM duties revolve around the identification, reporting and implementation of energy savings opportunities.
