About Leadership
Who is a “born leader?”
A good leader will have certain skills
Some are born with the skills it takes to be a leader, others are not.
Certain individual characteristics are what a leader will have.
The checklist will have these items on. See if you have all.
Charisma, humility, service oriented, empathy for others, ambition of course, but also a good leader will make new assistant leaders and surely, a sense of humor.
One third of it all is heridetary.
Leadership qualities can be studied, fine-tuned and perfected and eventually, the ultimate leader evolves.
Setting targets, communicating well with others, ability to keep a team together, long term planning and realistic goal oriented thinking is what a good leader will have.
Successful leaders show the way to the future. They lead yes, but also follow.
They inspire by motivating both themselves and others by setting an example themselves.
They are action oriented, practical, sometimes with off the track, think out of box thinking that may seem wierd sometimes but makes sense when targets are achieved and progress is made.
In any field, a leadership will first make a blueprint plans with plenty of workable options , set the ground for the ideas to be implemented, understand the mindset of both their team members, as well as their rivals.
They also set trends by their far sighted approach and very social media savvy.
Today good leaders know how to use social media well to first make their own brand, then reach out to their followers who follow their flagship store or product.
They are comfortable both offline and online leading and not averse to opting for one or both ways to reach out to their followers.
It takes lots more to be a leader
This is just scratching the surface.
Beneath no one will see the hardwork and sheer sacrifice that a successful leader made to reach the top and how he or she stays with an enviable aplomb, on that very shaky surface at its apex!
