In this class you'll learn how to create chip carving art, a form of wood carving that dates back to at least the 8th century.

You can be a complete beginner to wood carving to take part in this class or even a woodworker who wants to try out something a little different and add another string to their bow.

• This chip carving technique uses a normal flat bench chisel

• People who find using a chip carving knife awkward may find this technique more fitting (I prefer it!)

• There's 3 different patterns designed by myself available in the resources

• By the end of the class you'll be able to create a visually pleasing piece of art and maybe even start to design your own pieces to carve
