This highly popular piece for Classical/Spanish Guitar is loved by almost everyone and many Guitarists play the work or would like to play it.

The masterclass looks into some interpretation discussion regarding the subtle nuances, dynamics, tempo issues, articulation and shaping of phrasing, performance and artistic presentation and more.

I also cover some common technical difficulties with commentary and exercise suggestions and importantly, offer some extra supplementary material that will help broaden our palette of skills. Sheet music is included for these and performance demonstrations.

Finally I have also included some performances of my up-coming 'famous pieces' that will be work-shopped soon. These include Asturias - Isaac Albeniz and Prelude No1 - Heitor Villa Lobos. The upcoming masterclasses will follow a similar format to this one. One of my aims with the class is to illicit participation from students in the sense of where I can offer something of value that is possibly not available elsewhere or scarce.

The material is suitable for late beginner to intermediate students and folk who can play already but possibly need a little extra assistance or are keen to explore interpretation.

On this note, I have included a short 'beginner' course within the main program. The idea here is to offer some material to folk who are just starting out and may benefit.
