Description

This course provides learners with basic knowledge of English grammar.

NOTE: The material of this course is mostly the material of English for Non-English Speakers - Beginner's Course, but arranged as per topics of grammar, and contains the videos related to grammar only.

Students who have enrolled in of English for Non-English Speakers - Beginner's Course need not take this course, unless they want to get the grammar lessons in a more concise manner.

The course is structured into modules, and each module is expected to be completed each week, making a total of 6 weeks (and one more for the exam). At the end of the course, there is a Final Exam, which the students must complete in order to successfully pass the course.

As this is a self-paced course, learners can take their time in completing the course. They can complete it in 6 days, 6 weeks or even 6 months, if the needed!

What you will learn

Week 01:

• Sentence construction; subject and predicate; parts of speech, types of sentences (based on meaning), making negative sentences, question tags

Week 02:

• Prepositions of time, place and movement, prepositional phrase; phrasal verbs

Week 03:

• Singular and plurals; personal pronouns, reflexive and emphatic pronouns

Week 04:

• Adjectives, adverbs, linkers, modals and contractions, synonyms and antonyms

Week 5:

• Main verbs, Auxiliary Verbs, gerunds, infinitives, participles

Week 6:

• Overview of Tenses and its types
