What is the B1 English level Test?

CEFR or CEFRL (Common European Framework of Reference) is an international language ability standard by the Council of Europe. There are different levels for over 40 languages, which are A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. B1 is considered as an intermediate level for English learning ability. B1 also is the official level described by the CEFR. The B1 English Level Test is generally valid for a period of 2 years but can be used even after 2 years in some conditions.

Why take the B1 English Level Test?

The test will help you converse in English at school, in the workplace or socially. It's also full of useful phrases to help you when you travel or write work emails. It will help you get through simple situations but isn't designed to make you fully competent in English.

After passing the test?

You'll be able to deal with basic situations at work or school or when travelling. You'll be able to write about a variety of topics and interests using the correct tenses etc. You should also be able to understand both spoken and written English more easily.

These tests are designed to be similar to the English Grammar B1 tests thus giving you plenty of practice. Please note that these tests are just purely focused on the use of tenses and that other grammar knowledge is needed for the B1 test which I will cover in future courses.
