I've been teaching English for about 7 years (in international schools and in 1-on-1 classes) and have taught more than 7500 students. While my students are brilliant, time and time again students want to sharpen their English accent. Some of them want to move to a foreign company, and work in a foreign company. Some of them just want to socialize and listen and understand the world around them. • Review a list of sounds and how to resolve them, based on linguistic research. I've researched this matter for Mandarin speakers, and reviewed the key sounds, including taking input from my Chinese students.

• Intonation allows us to change the pitch of our voice to add layers of meaning to our sentences. You might not want to use these 24/7 but it will add jetfuel to your comprehension, especially when you watch TVshows and movies. It will also allow you to pick up on sub-communication on phone calls and in business meetings.
