EnviroAware is a concise introduction to the environment, including why the environment is important for all workplaces to consider, as well as the potential impacts to air, land and water from workplace and day-to-day activities, and legal responsibilities with respect the environment.

Environmental due diligence at the workplace is of critical importance - not simply to protect the receptors around the workplace and minimize the impact to air land and water, but also to ensure that all environmental regulations, permit condition and standards can be met. Providing training on the environment is an employer responsibility, and may serve to establish due diligence in the event of an event causing harm to the environment.

EnviroAware can benefit all workers, managers, contractors and visitors to an industrial or commercial site, by providing a basic level of environmental awareness, which may assist them in making the right decisions to minimize potential impacts to the environment during their workday, and day-to-day life.

Delivered across four brief modules – Introduction, Air, Land and Water, followed by comprehension quizzes, EnviroAware will provide students with an understanding of how their workplace activities may impact the environment, including what to consider in the event of an unplanned release or spill, and where to find information about specific environmental hazards.
