For enrolling in this course a background in programming is desirable but not essential. The course is suitable for both students and working professionals. First of all get introduced to the Java Language , and briefed about its evolution, unique features and advantages. You get to understand the data structures, programming constructs and the syntax of Java in easy to understand layman language. As we proceed, we also learn to write sample programs that apply the concepts being introduced in each session. Towards the end , get some ideas about what higher level courses you can pursue in Java and tips on career options.Some modules are planned to be added to this course later based on the feedback from the first hundred students.
