Hello Parents, introduce your children to the world of Indian festivals.

Festivals are a beautiful way to celebrate our glorious heritage, culture and traditions. They are meant to rejoice special moments and emotions in our lives with our loved ones. They play an important role in our social lives, and connect us with our families and backgrounds. They give us a distraction from our day to day, exhausting routine of life, and give us some inspiration to remember the important things and moments in life. Festivals were started to pass the legends, knowledge and traditions onto the next generation.

In India, each religion, each state in our country celebrates many festivals wholeheartedly and enthusiastically and with a lot of vigor throughout the year. Every festival is unique in its way to explore the prosperity of Indian culture and heritage.

Through this course we will be taking the children into a small peek into each festival and help them try and understand the different customs associated with each festival. We will also get them look beyond the celebrations and festivities, at some scientific and spiritual reasons behind these customs and why we follow them. Each chapter will cover one important festival and they can watch the video, read the resources provided and also complete the quiz at the end of each session!!
