Bonjour and welcome to the BeNantes French courses, especially designed for children from 3 years old!

This first course (of a long series) is about the farm animals, but not only!

Knowledge: Your child will learn about:

• The farm animals (vocabulary: the cow, the sheep, the pig, the horse, the duck and the dog)

• The colours (pink, red, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple, grey, black, white, brown.. and how to agree the adjectives according to the “féminin” and “masculine” rules)

• The numbers (from 1 to 10)

• Adjectives such as “petit”, grand”, “gros”, “mignon”, “dégoûtant” (small, big, fat, cute, gross…)

Abilities: You child will be able to:

• Make sentences using “il y a” ( There is / there are) to describe a photo

• Make sentences using “c’est” (it is) to designate animals and colours.

As mentioned previously, this course is addressed to children. It is fun (and funny!) and the pace is quite slow so that they have time to:

• Repeat (They will be asked to repeat every new vocabulary word out loud)

• Think (They will be given some time to think about the answer and say it loud. It is not merely a lecture, it is interactive)

• Train (In the exercises videos, they’ll find plenty of exercises to do so as to memorize the vocabulary in a fun way!)
