This course provides a basic understanding of various design parameters and criteria related to highway engineering. It will include the fundamentals of vehicle characteristics, resistance forces, and vehicle performance as well as the design elements of horizontal and vertical curves. You will learn the basic elements of the design through a step-by-step process during the lecture videos. The format of this course is designed in such a way that you don't need much background information about highway engineering to understand and learn the basic concepts presented here. The materials presented in this course are useful as part of FECivil Exam study sessions.
