Demonstrator: Amanda Meyer
Amanda fell in love with dancing at the age of 9. She has competeted throughout the United States and is a former Youth Latin National Finalist. She is experienced in the Intetrnational 10 dance as well as the American style of dancing. She has trained with several world class instructors including United States champhions in both International Latin and Standard professional categories. Amanda has an extroverted personality, enjoys meeting new people and takes pride in teaching a fun new skill.
The cha cha cha is a lively, fun, cheeky and playful dance of Cuban origin.
This course is built for solo progress and individual practice.
Although you can always learn with a partner/ with a group of your dance buddies, but it’s not necessary.
Learn at your own pace - You can watch our videos at anytime from any location as often as you like. Don’t remember a move? No problem, you can always come back to it and watch it again when it’s convenient for you.
This program takes you step-by-step, through the process of:
-gaining rhythm
-moving to the beat
-loosening up your body to stop looking stiff and tensed up
-learning a set of the most versatile, best looking dance moves
-connecting these moves together
-practicing them the right way
No materials or special shoes are needed. This course should take you a couple hours to complete, but it's definitely a good idea to go over the material again and again to make sure you get it to muscle memory.
