DescriptionHave you ever wondered what those birds are at your bird feeder, or out on a lake, river or in the park where you walk? As an educator, have you longed for short courses from an expert that help teach about bird identification? As a hunter, have you wondered about the identification of some of the ducks? It is a series of mini lectures where you will see videos and hear me discuss the key features of waterbirds like ducks, geese, grebes and loons, and also show you beautiful images and videos of our birds of prey, emphasizing how you can tell one from another. There is also a video of the birds at feeders, along with tips on how to best attract birds to your feeders. I have added a nature walk with me, where you can practice your field identification skills of birds. All of these courses have optional quiz sections where you can test your skills. This course is for the beginning bird watcher, nature lover, hunter, and educators.
This course you will:
Gain basic skills on how to identify birds anywhere
Learn how to identify male and female ducks
Understand how to attract birds to your yard
Recognize key bird behaviors like foraging, to help you identify birds
