Created and taught by a pianist, music therapist and singer-songwriter who has years of musical experience, this course is curated specifically for beginners who would like to learn the piano without getting too overwhelmed, but with a successful outcome. You will be guided on a step-by-step basis, in order to build a strong foundation to understand WHY you are playing what you are playing. Learning the piano can be an overwhelming experience, with so many keys to consider. Therefore, I simplify the process and provide the structure needed to not only successfully learn to play, but to ENJOY learning the piano. I do this by teaching some of the most popular chord progressions out there, which can be translated into many different genres.
You will see engaging and colorful visuals to help optimize the learning experience. In this course, you will be taught basic theory and how to play chords in the key of C, with the tools to play your desired songs on the piano. Concepts are broken down so that ANYONE can learn how to play the piano- starting with just a chord.
