The "Like a Native Speaker" series is designed to build your English skills in a natural way. The readings and lectures build on the foundation of your speaking vocabulary and pronunciation knowledge to grasp written language as you read. Upon completion of this class, your brain will automatically respond to English differently. You will naturally process English in the similar way that you learned your first language.

Each exercise will last approximately 15 minutes each, making this an easy course for people with jobs and family responsibility. This is a course that benefits you everytime you repeat a lesson because the goal is to train this linguistic habit for your brain. The goal is not only reading comprehension or vocabulary expansion in other courses. Repeating a segment creates a natural fluent habit and further strengthens this skill.

I encourage students to apply these techniques to other readings as well. Choose additional readings that entertain you or readings related to your career. As you proceed through the reading, review the steps in this course and apply them.
