For decades, investing and personal finance was a hobby while I worked as a university professor in a different field of study.

As a professor, I honed my ability to translate complex concepts in ways that resonate with students. Then I turned my personal finance hobby into a career as an investment portfolio manager and have been helping people since 2008.
