Understanding the interview

The course is designed to develop the skills of the learner which are necessary to succeed in job interviews.

Comprehension of the process that an interviewer utilizes to design a structured interview. The process of identifying the areas regarding which the questions will be asked, the key questions that will be asked and the parameters for evaluating the answers given by the interviewees.

Preparing for the interview:

Identification of the needs of the organization through research and analysis.

Key questions which are expected to be asked in the structured interview on the basis of Role analysis, Key Result areas, Competency analysis and personality analysis.

Technical competency analysis of the job for identifying the technical queries expected to come up during the interview.

Behavioral competency analysis of the job for identifying the behavioral queries likely to come up during the interview.

Formulation of a strategy for the interview by the interviewee in order to create a competitive advantage and positioning as a performer.

Communication of talent and competency.

Identification of the positioning to be aspired for by the interviewee in order to be viewed favorably by the interviewers and the strategy for achieving it.
