In this course we will go through very basic concepts of options. We will look at how options work and certain key attributes that one should know when it comes to trading options. We will look at the meaning of strike price, premiums, buying calls, buying puts, writing calls, writing puts, and the risks of buying and selling options, and how to mitigate some of these risks.

2. What are Call Options? – This is an introduction to call options.

a. Buying Calls – Here we will talk about what it means to “buy” call options. And what happens when you purchase a call option.

b. Writing Calls - Here we will talk about what it means to “write” call options. And what happens when you write a call option.

3. What are Put Options - This is an introduction to put options.

a. Buying Puts – Here we will talk about what it means to “buy” put options. And what happens when you purchase a put option.

b. Writing Puts - Here we will talk about what it means to “write” put options. And what happens when you write a put option.

4. Covered Calls and Covered Puts – Here we will talk about the concept of covered calls and covered puts. We will talk about how this concept can mitigate the risk of writing options.
