Welcome to Kubernetes &Azure Kubernetes Service 101 Course!

With this beginner's course you will learn basic Kubernetes Concepts and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) specifics:

• Recap on Docker images, Docker Containers & Azure Containers Ecosystem (Azure Container Registry & Azure Container Instances)

• Kubernetes and AKS Architecture

• Kubernetes Concepts (Nodes, Pods, Deployments, Services, etc)

• Ingress and Ingress Controllers

• Namespaces, Resource Quotas & DNS inside the cluster

• Taints, Tolerations, Affinity and Anti-affinity rules

• Kubernetes RBAC

• Storage Concepts & Storage Options on AKS

Throughout the course we will build a simple application and run it on AKS:

• Build a simple app, build a container, push an image to Azure Container Registry & run it on Azure Container Instance

• Create an Azure Kubernetes Service cluster

• Deploy the app to Azure Kubernetes Service

• Create an Ingress for our app

After finishing this course you will be able to understand basic concepts of Kubernetes and learn how to deploy your own AKScluster. We will not go deep in many of the topics but you will end up with a solid understanding and overview of what is possible in Kubernetes and AKS. Ihope you will enjoy this course and find it very useful if you consider learning Kubernetes from scratch and aiming towards deploying your Kubernetes workloads to Azure.
