You’ll practice face-to-face on-screen with native Mandarin speakers, while you are guided by the on-screen graphics in English. Chinese is very different from English, so LanguageEase takes you through the unique intonations and “melodies” with face-to-face coaching sessions. Your video tutors will prompt you to speak with call-and-response patterns designed to help you learn and practice through “spaced repetition.”

When you see the colorful animated cues, it’s your turn to speak. Your video coaches will give you time to practice each new phrase, and challenge you to answer questions and even form new phrases.

After the first lesson, you’ll already be speaking some useful Mandarin Chinese. Watch all eight and you’ll know hundreds of words and phrases. Most importantly, you’ll know the unique “4-tone” intonation for each word – which is the key to being understood when you speak.
