I lost my husband Brent suddenly and unexpectedly in 2011. I instantly became a widow at 35 years old. After several years of grief work and healing, I FINALLY felt like I was ready to start dating.

I had no idea what I was doing!

I hadn’t been on a date in 15 years!

But I learned a lot about myself, expectations, confidence, intuition, trust. I learned how to navigate dating as a widow!

The pivotal point for me happened in 2015.

I met my now husband Doug.

10 months later were engaged.

10 months later we were married!

And 10 months after that, we welcomed baby Penelope into our family!
