Wayne Norcliffe is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has many years experience of buying, selling, renting and dealing with property across the UK including whilst working for HSBC Bank Plc, London Scottish Bank Plc, National Car Parks Limited and others.

This course assumes that the student has had a survey report which has found defects, but the lessons learnt can be useful to anyone involved in a negotiation, whether that’s for the purchase of property or not.

In this course students will benefit from that experience to learn a 'unique' negotiation strategy created by the Author to help property buyers to renegotiate the price originally offered to buy a property. The focus is on where students offered to buy a property at a particular price, then having received their surveyor report need to renegotiate to reflect factors found in that report.

We'll learn about methodology we've created and one that is used by our clients who have saved many thousands of pounds over the years adopting this method. Clients of our business have used this method and told us they have saved thousands compared to the original offer price, with the best being a saving achieved of £80,000, but we often hear about several thousands saved too.

In this course we’ll discuss how to research before you begin negotiations, planning the negotiations, consider tactics including using Sacrificial Lambs, how to conduct negotiations and closure of these.
