We discuss the real life issues that arise during this post partum period and we explore the various tools of Yoga and Ayurveda that willease some of the challenges.
Students will learn how to incorporate all elements of yoga including asana, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, nutrition, and positive thinking into daily life so Mother can remain peaceful, calm and grounded in every moment and experience a smooth and speedy healing process.
Students will be introduced to specific asana, pranayama, and kriya techniques that help tone the core, stimulate digestion and increase energy.
Lastly, we will explore how to integrate baby into all the above so eventually, everything will become YOGA and Mommy and baby will be healthy, happy, and able to develop an incredibly strong bond.
This course has been designed for new mothers, existing yoga teachers, and those who have a new mother in their life whom they love and support. It is also appropriate for anyone who would like to learn the foundations from which you can develop a complete yogic practice that incorporates all elements of yoga including asana, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, nutrition, and positive thinking. This course is a continuation of part 1, prenatal yoga.
This course is a Yoga Alliance approved continuing education course and counts towards 30 contact hours. Existing Yoga teachers will be able to satisfy their 3 year CEC requirements.
