Update Feb 4 2021, Due to COVID-19 the majority of municipalities in Ontario have stopped publishing new tax sales, they can postpone a tax sale up to 90 days, they have also release a new regulation (search: ontario - laws-regulation-200073) which allows them to postpone an additional 120 days.
