Verbs that denote different ways of movement represent a separate group of verbs that is called the Verbs of Motion.

This course is designed for foreign students who want to learn the Verbs of Motion from scratch or to develop their skills and understanding of the Verbs of Motion.

It is suitable for students with basic knowledge of Russian. The explanation is given in English and provided in a condensed and understandable way.

This course gives a proper explanation of the idea of unidirectional and multidirectional verbs. Students will learn the most common ways of using the Verbs of Motion in the Past, Present, and Future tenses. They will learn how to distinguish the unidirectional and multidirectional verbs and choose the one they need.

The course contains an interactive workbook that students fill in when watching the lectures. The workbook has theoretical material, exercises that check students’ understanding of the lecture, and space to take notes.
