This course is perfect if your are looking at learning Salsa from scratch. You will be introduced to the most basic steps and turn patterns that will allow you to already be able to dance right away.

The course is organised in 2 sections.

You will need to complete the basic section before moving up to the improver section.

Each section is organised in 4 separate class during which we focus on a specific move. You will need to take the class one by one following the structure 1 to 4, as each class build on the preceding classes.

In the basic section you will learn basic steps, right and left turn, enchufla and cross body lead. This moves are the basics of Salsa in Caliente Dance Studio, and are the foundations of your Salsa learning journey.

In the improver section you will build on the basic level and learn how to do cross body lead with turns and how to do a settenta. These moves are the foundation of all Salsa turn patterns that you can learn when taking our Intermediate course.

At the end of the course you will be able to dance simple salsa with your partner and enjoy the dance. It is also important to note that you can start dancing straight after your first class and that you need to practise the moves you are learning.

Dancing is really brain work, and you need to apply what you've learn right away and as many time as you can so that you built the required brain to body connection. The more you practise a move the more it will become natural to you.
