You: Want to learn American English, but you are a total beginner. You like to learn independently, but the course should be clear and well-organized. You don’t like most English courses because the teacher tries to explain everything in English too quickly and you don’t understand. You just want a clear presentation with a simple explanation, pictures, and examples. Then you want a chance to practice and try the language without someone judging you. You also would like to focus on words that you will actually need and use every day in the “real world,” not sentences just to practice the grammar, like “The girls are running.” You would also like to focus on how to sound natural when you speak. If this sounds like you, this course is for you.

Me: I am a native speaker (born in San Francisco) and have a master’s degree in English, a TEFL/TESL teaching certificate, and international experience. I have also tried to learn languages from different courses and programs, and have experienced a lot of frustration. Because of this, I promised to make an English language course that will help learners step-by-step, building on words and skills that are actually practical in the “real world.” I created this course based on my extensive experience teaching English learners at colleges, universities, and private language academies (since 2007). My dream is to help learners get the skills they really need and feel confident using their English!
