Have
you ever felt like you just can’t remember a word or where you put the
keys? Or that sometimes when you are
dealing with a hard problem you “just can’t think”?
I can’t count the number of patients I have had that have “brain
fog” on their intake form, or the number of students that ask
me “what can I do to remember all of this material!?”. The good news is, there
is usually a common cause to these problems, and a way to improve memory: diet.
Memory
is becoming more important all the time, thankfully there are a million
different courses and workshops on how to learn faster and remember more.
For the most part, these are all very valuable and work, however my experience
in clinic and as an educator has been that there is much more to the topic of memory then mnemonic
memory techniques and the memory palace.
The
first place I always start is with the diet. No matter if you are finding
that your memory is slowly getting worse, or you want to boost an already keen
mind, diet can make a difference. This course takes you step by step
through what nutritional factors could be the culprit in brain fog and mental
cloudiness. We then explore what foods and herbs can be added safely to your
diet to help improve mental performance.
We
will cover all the main herbs and supplements like Ginkgo Biloba, Lions Mane
and Bacopa, to name just a few and some other essential nutrients like Omega 3
and Pro-biotics. Then we will dive into the real heavy hitters like lions’ mane, MCT and caffeine.
I
will also be discussing and reviewing many of the common nootropic “stacks” and
talk about the pros and cons.
As
a bonus, I will go through a few other activities you can do to sharpen your
brain and think faster. The best part: a keener mind is only the start.
After adding these superfoods and herbs to your diet, while removing the brain
busters, you will have more endurance, have an increased immune system, feel
and look younger, and feel stronger
