Gamification is a term, which is used nowadays in Learning and development field. Due to the rapid world, we are living in, it became very hard to keep the attention of the learners for a long time that’s why the coming era is "The Era of Gamification". Gamification Factory is a fully gamified learning journey that will guide learning professionals through the coherent and integrated concepts and secrets of the Gamification world aiming for them to get practical implementations to their learning experiences, plus being able to use friendly tech-based tools for different learning strategies. Gamification, to me, is a design affordance. It's a way of designing learning that makes it engaging, it's not the artificial application of a game layer like points, badges and leaderboards on top of instruction.

As an instructional designer you’re always looking for ways to make learning content more engaging.

But, at the same time, you still need to focus on improving performance.

So a random “game” template where a soccer ball gets kicked through a goal every time a quiz question is answered right probably isn’t the right solution.
