Hello everyone! I am Julia, a native British English teacher from London with over 15 years experience of teaching languages of which 8 years training language teachers of French and English, taking from new to the job, to confident trainers and mentors.

Welcome to my Grammar Course! Throughout this particular grammar course, I will be teaching you how to learn grammar in context and in theory, quickly and with all the key jargon, to understand, use, and explain grammar with confidence. I will therefore be presenting you with all the specific language required to explain and ask about grammar. This ‘metalanguage’ will enable you to build your grammatical knowledge in a clear and structured manner, with no more confusions between adjectives and adverbs, determiners and pronouns, and more. This means that as you progress in English, you will make fewer mistakes and be ready for not only working in English but also studying in English, where generally an official English exam is required.

You will feel confident using all the verb tenses, as well as the different parts of speech (also called "Word classes") that constitute the English language: adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, determiners, nouns, prepositions, pronouns, and verbs.
