The course covers all the necessary aspects of building an online business. We first start by covering the fundamentals. Then, we’ll get you online. This is the module where, finally, the fun begins. We’ll get you a domain name, a hosting account, and get your own domain name-associated email address set up. The following 2 modules will be all about mastering the Wordpress platform and building 4 real sites together in Wordpress (an ad sales website, an affiliate website, a community website and an ecommerce website).
After that, we’ll cover traffic generation. This is the most important module because your website won’t start making you money until you start sending traffic to it. We spend over 3 hours covering 5 effective ways you can capture an audience and we cover these in detail: SEO, PPC, SMM, Email & Affiliates. Additionally, to track, test and measure the effectiveness of your efforts to get traffic and monetize your website, we’ll use Google analytics & Google search console.
The last 3 modules will address some legal stuff, using systems to scale your business as well as outsourcing. You’re going to learn 1) What you need to know & do legally when starting your business and 2) The use of funnels and SOPs (standard operating procedures) and lastly 3) How to build a team of people you can call on anytime to help you with whatever you need.
