But this course…this course was born out of a request from my sister to host a workshop for a combined group of her personal friends and business associates.

A group of well-educated, professional career women.

Executive level federal government employees, chief financial officers, physicians, engineers, senior management, entrepreneurs...

Their level of accomplishments were striking and impressive!

That said, being in such all consuming fields of industry, managing their careers, their families and a host of other things demanding their attention, they realized that although they had invested during the span of their careers, they had never really taken the time to empower themselves with the hands-on knowledge of investing in stocks, bonds and mutual funds and managing their accounts.

This task had always been in the care of professionals.

So as a result, many had never really reviewed their quartely statements and did not know their rate of return (ROR) on the investments they had been making.

The group was interested in knowing the basics.
