The three types of reading the Holy Quran:

1_ AT-TAHQEEQ: where the QURAN is read very slowly with TAJWEED

2_ AL-HADR: where QURAN is read QUICKLY with TAJWEED

3_ AT-TADWEER: where the QURAN is read at an average rate with TAJWEED

AT-TAHQEEQ: Recite the Quran with deliberation and content, reflect on its meanings and all the rules of Tajweed, pronounce each word correctly.

AL-HADR: Recite the Quran quickly, but respecting all the rules of Tajweed.

AT-TADWEER: Between At-Tahqeeq and Al-Hadr.

These systems of recitations are authorized. They are all intended as the Tarteel system that Allah says: ﴿وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلاً﴾ {and sing the Quran with measure,} (Al-Muzammil: 4).

To note:

Some researchers are looking for Tarteel as an independent degree after Tahqeeq. Reciting in both degrees is with deliberation, content and deep reflection on the meaning of the verses and the rules of Tajweed. The difference between them is that; Tahqeeq is educational, when learners need to recite with more caution and interest to pronounce letters correctly and apply the rules of tajweed. But Tarteel is a recitation system that the reader tries out after passing the learning stage.
