DescriptionThere are many ways of addressing situations like Covid19. Humans have been researching it for a long time. All reputed business and personal development publications and journals have delved into this topic. The trainer has chosen some of the best techniques known for this. The course provides a brief overview of the techniques. To learn more in detail, please be on the lookout for the next Udemy course - "Toughening for Covid19 - Building Resilience, for groups". That course will delve into the details of technique application for individuals and a group of people.
The course leverages various techniques - especially SISU, a technique from Finland that was tried and tested by the Finnish armed forces in their war against Russia in 1939. Even though Finland was not the victor, the damage they caused to the Russians, despite all odds being stacked against the Finnish, was commended by all world leaders, including Winston Churchill. That then led to the research and evolution of a distilled technique that is now commonly known as the SISU technique of handling adversity.
There have been many pieces of work dedicated to this technique. Finland particularly epitomises this technique and is heralded as the country's great achievement.
The instructor has described some of the broad techniques from SISU and has discussed how the student could use them. Detailed analysis and application of these techniques are out of the scope of this course, even though it does provide examples of application with every technique. The instructor has also attempted to build a story around all the techniques for easy understanding and application
