The course will be constantly updated, further videos will be added at time intervals where I will propose the development of new indicators and explain further features present in Tradestation.The advice is to watch the videos and try to replicate the code, in this way you would become increasingly familiar with programming, in fact, alongside the theory it is necessary to develop code to fully understand its meaning.

The course aims to introduce the student to the use and evaluation of trading systems through the use of a software called Tradestation, whose advantage is that of being at the same time a tool for analysis and use through a dedicated broker. The programming language is similar to basic and therefore easier to learn than other lower level languages. We will see how to create simple trading systems and evaluate their goodness. The software is also completed by a series of features that make it complete and easy to use. Furthermore, the software generates report systems, so we will see the ratios contained in it in order to evaluate the goodness of a system and use this knowledge to select systems available on the market. We will also see how it is possible to import customized time series and create intermarket models. The same software also allows you to interface with the most important macroeconomic data of a company such as expected profits, p/e, Book value. We will also deal with intermarker and calendar in order to highlight how different deadlines are important for evaluating the price of an instrument. We will also introduce the concept of COT, also implemented in tradestation, which allows a more precise analysis of the major crosses
